I know you know this, but… a quick reminder: you are more than the sum of your to-do list.
Your worth doesn’t come from getting it all done, no matter what “it all” is. (And the reality of the space-time continuum suggests that you actually CAN’T get it all done, so you might as well let go of that right now.)
Even if we’re talking about really, really important stuff, you’re still enough even if it doesn’t all get crossed off the never-ending to-do list.
See, I used to think there was never enough time.
At the end of every day, no matter how busy I’d been, there were always projects unfinished, emails unanswered, and household chores left undone. I hadn’t done it all, so I felt like I hadn’t done enough.
And it’s only a short leap in your heart from “I never do enough” to “I’m not enough.”
