six word fridays: lost & found

January 13, 2012

I didn't lose the kids, they just scampered out of the frame.

LOST

keys, diaper bag, grocery list, shoe
lip balm, nail clippers, hair elastics
day planner, scarf, one random spoon
puzzle piece, bookmark, power cord, instructions
track of time, hours, days, weeks
memories I thought I’d hold, vanished
(I don’t even notice they’re missing)

FOUND

?
thinking, thinking…

Mostly I lose things.

Well, hello there! This week, we’re writing six words about LOST & FOUND. What have you lost? What have you found? Either or both, literal or figurative: your call.

The worst is time. Those pesky minutes, hours and dates that vanish are the sneakiest of them all!

Sneakiest and least likely to be recovered! Those slippery minutes.

I tend to lose my mind the most.

Yeah, mine is long gone. I’ve given up lamenting that one. ;)

Everyday I run around the house saying “I can’t find my [keys, phone, etc.]” DH will roll his eyes, get up from whatever he is doing and find the ‘lost item’ in less than 5 minutes. ;)

Um. That may have happened here before. Once or twice. (Though I can often find HIS missing things, too, so I guess that works out? Kind of?)
