six word fridays: pace

September 23, 2011

morning: warming the engines, revving, idling
day: frantic, frenetic, the ohmygoodness busyness
evening: push-pulling through stickyslow molasses, c’mon!
night: screeching stop of energy sapped. halt.

leisurely pace? only in my imagination.

puzzle toes

luckily we’re busy with adorable things.

Wonder what we’re doing? Need the button? Want me to email you next week’s topic?

You are lucky with adorable things :) days seem to go in such a crazy pace…one day into another..enjoy your moments with the adorable things :) love the pic!

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

Thanks! I find that too, that one day slides into the next, (almost) always at full throttle. A breather would be good! ;)

Molly@Postcards from a Peaceful Divorce September 23, 2011

My frenetic pace has kept me from participating on Fridays. I’m glad to be back. I guess everyone is on full speed, huh?

Caroline September 23, 2011

Oh goodness, we both came back the same week!

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

Seems to be! Glad to see you, Molly. :)

Perhaps we’ll all slow down once we get into the swing of fall. (I think I say this every season.)

Caroline September 23, 2011

I, too, am so glad that they are adorable things. You are busy, Mama!

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

Busy mamas, busy kids, busy babies. The cuteness is such a plus! ;)

Sara September 23, 2011

I dream about a leisurely pace
Oh how lovely that would be!

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

Do you think we’d get bored?
I kind of think DEFINITELY NOT. ;)

Mel Gallant September 23, 2011

And then you blink, a year’s gone by. Life with little ones is set to a wicked pace. :)

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

YES. This exactly. Two blinks and the years have sped away, and we have halfway-to-grown kids and the baby isn’t a baby any longer. I begin to suspect we defy physics.

Kate September 23, 2011

Leisurely?
What’s that? Revving, racing, Frantic, frenetic.
Those I understand. Too well.

Enjoy the adorable. I try to.

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

I have this glimmer of understanding…
leisure… someone somewhere must have it. ;)

Brook @ To Be Dancing September 23, 2011

adorable things. like baby feet. nomnomnomnom. baby feet are delicious (in a completely cute, non cannibalistic way, of course :) )

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

SUPER delicious. In the most wholesome of ways. :)

Keia September 23, 2011

revving, frantic, push-pulling…definitely in my vocabulary…
so glad to be participating this week (and what a great word choice).

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

All fresh from the mama-dictionary. These things we all know too well! :)

Adrienne September 23, 2011

such sweetness….perhaps a little leisure will fit into the weekend pace??!! it could happen!

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

Worth trying, at least! :)

Mama Zen September 23, 2011

This is so true!

Melissa Camara Wilkins September 23, 2011

And we all start again tomorrow! :)
