six word fridays: connect

September 16, 2011

broken power cord

Did not mean to do that.

Power cord cracked open, accidentally demolished.
My connection to you: that tenuous?
Plastic snaps, our conversations cut short?

Our discourse depends on technological goodwill,
even if our connections run deeper.

Perhaps I need some of this.

This week’s topic: CONNECT. Make a connection. Then connect with us! In six words.

Wonder what we’re doing? Need the button? Want me to email you next week’s topic? Sure thing. Check out this page.

It would seem that my connection
is dependent on our cat who
is inexplicaby drawn to power cables

The cat wants to be connected! :)

Linked up on my page :) I have a camera battery that has disconnected its casing – - looks a lot like your poor plug. Love the idea of “technological goodwill”

Today I need some technological goodwill!
SIGH.
Those batteries, plugs: conspiring against us. ;)

The same thing happened to me
Only it was the cable that frayed
Rendering me unconnected, speechless, maybe crying
Hello, I have an internet addiction

The internet: more addictive than chocolate.
I would cry, just a little. :)

Speaking of cats…mine eats headphone wires. Can’t connect to my music if my earphones are frayed! LOL. I like the thought of technological goodwill too.

What do cats have against connection?
I sense a secret feline plot…

Frayed, dishelved, disconnected. These words surely

Twas an object lesson in connection!
Love it. (Yes I said twas.) ;)

Constantly frayed, flustered, discombobulated: me too.

Don’t like it when I’m disconnected or disrupted like this! I’m a baby even when my computer is slow…sigh. Hope you’re up and running soon!

I need a new computer, sigh.
Mine’s been dying slowly for… ever.
But it keeps holding on! Barely!
(This was a replacement power cord.
I already wore through the first.) :)

much of the world now depends on technological goodwill. I have satellite internet which is entirely dependent on meteorological goodwill.

(Is it just me or is the linky thing not there?)

ah, there it is :)

Depending on technological goodwill makes me nervous, just a touch. Can the goodwill of meteors be counted upon? I suppose they’re less fickle than my power cord. ;)

Melissa,

I love this phrase, “Our discourse depends on technological goodwill, even if our connections run deeper.” This really speaks to the world in which we live! I freak out when one (or more) of my e-toys is on the fritz. I’ve even been forced to resort to writing a real letter with a pen and paper! I felt good.

Namaste………cj
