I live in southern
I spend my days reading books both with and without questionable language, and wondering how we can possibly have run out of clean spoons AGAIN. In my free time I enjoy—wait, no, I have no free time. Well, on my days off, I—wait again, no days off either. Hmm…
I do occasionally find time to write coherent sentences and string them together; find my clips here.

Hi Melissa,
Just discoverd your blog and am thoroughly enjoying it. You crack me up! Where have you been all my life? Well – dumb question… Seeing as my “one-and-only” is about to turn 16 and your oldest is just six and I was NOT a teen mother I must be quite a bit older than you. But I sure could have used you and your blog back when I was in your stage of life! ‘Course back then there were no “blogs…” Shoot – the Internet was just emerging for the general public. Yikes! Now I feel really OLD. Still – LOVE your stuff!
Thanks, Annie! Most of your life I’ve been… uh, you know… around. Just not around here, I guess.
Yours is only the second (young) Audrey I’ve come across, mine will be two later this month.
Hey Melissa !
I love you … and in many ways I AM you. I think. Well sort of. I, too, have four children — 6, 5, 3 and four months, live in So Cal, shop at TJ’s, use cloth diapers, wince at wayward, unsolicited remarks re: my ‘abundant’ family, and love to read/write. But then again — I am black and newly divorced. Alas.
Cool blog. Cooler mommie. Keep it coming. You’re keeping me sane … but most importantly laughing.
April
Hi April! Of course I love you too, especially since you are me.
So does the laughter keep us sane, or does it signal that we’ve gone over the edge? Hmmm…
Thanks for saying hello!
